The CAC reflects, with gratitude, on Child Abuse Prevention Month. Many individuals and businesses came together in a unified effort to raise awareness of child abuse prevention. This was shown through the many pinwheel gardens which were planted, the blue which was worn, the participants and attendees at the art show, the attendees at the body safety workshop and the overwhelming supporters of the Hope, Heal, Grow Gala. Thank you to everyone who helped throughout this this very important month.
Even though April has passed, it is important to continue to educate yourself and others on child abuse prevention. By working together, a difference can be made in the lives of children in our communities. By promoting safety, awareness and dialogue, child abuse prevention can happen.
