The Hope, Heal, Grow Gala took place on April 1, 2017. 171 guests came together to support the work of The Children’s Advocacy Center of North and Northwest Cook County (CAC). The evening was emceed by Co-Chairs Eduardo and Terri Cisneros and included guest speaker Matthew Sandusky. CAC was proud to award the 2017 Champion of Children award to longtime CAC partner, Elisa Corona. Elisa works on the priority one team with the Department of Children and Family Services.
Together, $155,000 was raised to support the children and families CAC serves.
The evening kicked off with a silent auction, cocktails and hors d'oeuvres at Medinah Country Club. Guests then welcomed Guest Speaker Matthew Sandusky, enjoyed a delicious dinner, a live auction and partook in a fund a program paddle raise. The generosity was evident in the room. All funds raised directly support the healing services provided by CAC, who serves over 800 clients annually. The gala concluded with dessert, a live band, and dancing.
The Hope, Heal, Grow Gala is an event to celebrate the hard work of CAC and raise critically needed funds for CAC programs. It is truly amazing to see so many community members come together to support the healing and growing of children and families who have suffered abuse and trauma.
CAC would like to thank all attendees, supporters and volunteers who helped with the gala. CAC would also like to thank the generous sponsors, specifically Presenting Sponsor Thermos. Without your support, the Hope, Heal, Grow Gala would not have been possible. Thank you for being a vital part of The Children’s Advocacy Center of North and Northwest Cook County.
Official pictures will be released as soon as they become available.
