CAC welcomes two new advocates
Please welcome CAC’s newest family advocates, Kara Zenni (pictured left) and Cara Liace (pictured right)! As advocates, they will support children and families through assessment and evaluation, case management, counseling and advocacy.
Kara Zenni earned her Bachelor of Social Work at Auburn University in 2014, and a Master of Social Work from The University of Chicago School of Social Service Administration in 2016. Her previous experience includes providing case-management services for children and families suffering from HIV/AIDS and homelessness as well as conducting individual and group therapy in a school setting for children suffering from developmental and intellectual disabilities, social skills, mental illness and trauma.
Cara Liace earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at the University of Iowa in 2008 and her Master’s in Social Work at Dominican University in 2016. Cara spent five years working with youth experiencing homelessness prior to pursuing her master’s degree and completed two internships in community mental health centers, providing case management and counseling services.
