Meet the 2016 Gala Chair, Britten Follett
The Children’s Advocacy Center of North and Northwest Cook County (CAC) is delighted to introduce you to the 2016 Gala Chair, Britten Follett.
Britten is a child abuse prevention advocate and Vice President, Marketing at Follett School Solutions. She serves on the Board of Directors of Prevent Child Abuse Illinois and is the co-author of Who Killed Kelsey, a critique of the child welfare system that resulted in the murder of a young Oklahoma girl.
Britten spent years investigating the intimate details and negligence behind Kelsey’s story. She earned an Emmy for her impressive investigative television reports and dedicates much of her time outside of work to sharing Kelsey’s story and educating individuals across the country about child abuse prevention. She is an outstanding voice for a very vulnerable population.
