The Family Support Services
(FSS) program is designed to complement the existing
services of CAC by assessing, monitoring and attempting
to reduce risk situations in families where an allegation
of abuse has been investigated and risk to the child
(or children) is not sufficient to warrant protective
placement or intact family services through the Department
of Children and Family Services.
FSS is integral to CAC's on-going mission to reduce
trauma and provide support to child victims of abuse
and their families. For the hundreds of child survivors
of sexual abuse who walk through the CAC's door each
year, FSS contributes to their recovery.
Free of charge and available
