Mental Health Services
CAC provides a safe place for children and their families to begin the healing process after experiencing a traumatic event. Our Mental Health Services Team is comprised of extensively trained and experienced Trauma Therapists who provide evidence-based therapy.
The goal is to help clients process and resolve trauma, build resilience and break cycles of violence. All therapy is free and offered in English or Spanish. Staff accept both in-house and outside therapy referrals for clients who qualify based on an assessment screening.
Therapy services include:
-
Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TFCBT)
-
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
-
Play Therapy
-
Parent Support Groups
-
Crisis Intervention
While “healing” looks different for every child and family, CAC’s vision is to create a community where every child can thrive in safety and well-being.
